Anicita Shea, soprano, was named a winner of the 1935 Walter W. Naumburg Competition.
She studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and was awarded the Lotta Crabtree and Klara Kathleen Rogers scholarships. A native of Newport, RI, she performed throughout New England and on the radio.
