Gertrude Gibson, soprano, graduated from the Juilliard School of Music. While at Juilliard she performed in several of its operatic productions and later had a leading role in the Chautauqua Opera Company.
Ms. Gibson won the Naumburg Award in 1939 and gave her New York debut in Town Hall on January 9, 1940.
